Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Post-Graduation in Sustainable Energy Systems, with 15 years of experience in the Energy sector. Started the professional career at EFACEC Engenharia, spent 8 years at the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology with responsibilities in energy planning and security of supply, followed by 1 year at ADENE as Coordinator of the Energy Observatory.

Spent 4 years as Advisor to the Secretary of State for Energy and Secretary of State for Energy and Environment, responsible for matters related to Energy Policy and Energy Planning. In 2023 served 4 months as Director of Energy & Resources at EY Portugal. Since September 1, 2023, serves as Director General at the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology, which is the Portuguese Public Administration body that has the mission of contributing to the design, promotion and evaluation of policies related to energy and geological resources.
